FIGURES WITH LANDSCAPE (2016)

The series represents a reflection on the unstable relationships that humans establish with places through social networks, work, cultural identity and historical events. The issues at stake is how to face depopulation of mountain villages and find new sustainable forms of exploitation of natural resourses. In a wider sense, we can consider our relation to open air places, proximity and relation with the community.
We face some voids to fill.

Born from private archives and memories of the inhabitants of Cervo valley in the Alps, the work was exhibited on the streets of the valley itself on big blueback posters.

The project was realized in the frame of Residenza Alpina, curated by Arteco.
