NOTES  (2017)

Many stories often intertwine and stratify in places: large and small, private, collective, intimate, emotional, political, economic, natural, imaginary stories. We walked in these places, mountains where whitches, soldiers and partisans, peasant and hikers walked and lived. Our path, creating itself in going, followed historical and geographical maps but also traces of the narrations that echoed in our heads, some known others only imagined.
Notes is a collection of visual annotations, suggestions, signs and symbols, mostly random and temporary references for a hypothetical map of memory, abandonment, rediscovery and invention.

The project was realized in the frame of Passi Erratici – Dintorno artist recidency, in Paraloup refuge. Curated by Stefano Riba.
