GRANDE COME IL MONDO  (2022)

Nurseries could seem like a sort of parallel world, at a smaller scale. Here the foundations for the future rest and take form. A protected and welcoming nest where children discover themselves and the others, build relationships, wonder, confront, fight, enjoy. A place and a time where the small and simple – small gestures, small objects, small human beings but with already marked personalities – can express their intense and sometime revealing depth, a soft yet powerful presence, essential – in the sense of closeness to the essence. Fantasy and play become instruments to establish relationships and experiment with the world around, wonder and magic are possibilities of discovery and invention. Relations are a way of discovering the self and the other, building personalities and identity.
