In the frame of a plan for the renewal of an abandoned urban park in Rivalta di Torino, former industrial and country suburbs of the city, Wake Up Casermette project (by Fluxlab APS and Città di Rivalta) intervened to engage with the community and promote active participation.
I was called to lead two photography informal courses, for youngsters and for women. This was the occasion to reflect together on the photographic image and on representation. A collective project of "botanical portraits" was realized along this path, and was exhibited in an open air installation in the neighborhood involved.
